Any seriously social online marketer will tell you that, for better or worse, life never slows down. Right as you wrap up one project, another one begins. While this client engagement winds down, that one skyrockets out the gate at full-force. And just when you come down off off the figurative high of a week in Las Vegas, soaking up deep knowledge from thought-leaders and networking with industry pals in the middle of a jewel-studded desert, it’s time to head to another shiny city for another week at another beloved conference.
For the AIMCLEAR crew, the next stop on our 2011 conference calendar, which last week took us to #PubCon, catapults us now to the Windy City for Search Engine Strategies Chicago. From November 15-17, the Hyatt Regency will be home to dozens of eager professionals from all walks of the online marketing industry. Among them, our own Marty Weintraub, Merry Morud, Erica Sendros and Megan Lichty will be in the crowd – presenting, moderating, and covering the event. Read on for a closer look at their schedules, as well as a sneak peek at our friend Lisa Buyer‘s special PR workshop.
Social Media Marketing: Killer Advertising Tactics
Day 3 – Thurs. November 17th – 1:30 pm CST
This spotlight session on the Local/Mobile Track will focus on the paid side of social media platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as powerful ways to leverage targeting capabilities and community members for maximum results. Moderated by AIMCLEAR‘s Merry Morud, speakers J.D. Gershbein, CEO, Owlish Communications and our own Marty Weintraub, President, AIMCLEAR will take turns sharing best practices and, aptly, killer tactics with the crowd.
Meet the Experts: Roundtable Forum
Day 1 – Tues. November 15th – 4:30 pm CST
This year marks SES’s *all new* Meet the Experts Roundtable Forum, a self-described “unique opportunity to learn, network and share information with your peers and leading industry specialists.” Each roundtable features two expert panelists and addresses a specific key topic, and we’re proud to announce Merry will be tackling the Facebook Ad Formats roundtable with Matt Lawson, Vice President of Marketing, Marin Software. Stop by Merry and Matt’s table for seriously top-shelf insight on FB ads, targeting tactics, best practices, and more.
