AIMCLEAR is thrilled to announce that I’ll be keynoting PeSA, a superb niche’ ecommerce selling conference held annually on Australia’s stunning Gold Coast. Well over 800 marketers are in attendance, from small businesses to some of Australia’s most formidable ecommerce players, vendors and media outlets.  Just steps from an incredibly beautiful beach, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (header image) is gorgeous!  This is my eighth time speaking in Australia over the last five years.<3
Conference founder Phil Leahy, a legendary high volume seller on eBay Australia, has been a prominent member of PeSA in America since 2004.  He won the award as Australia’s #1 eBay seller in 2007 & 2008. Phil was invited by the USA founder Joe Cortese to support Australian eBay sellers by providing annual event for sellers to share ideas and network. PeSA Australia is also a crucial voice for the eBay community and was notably the lead organization in stopping eBay’s PayPal-only policy in 2008.
In addition to this year’s notable roster of Australian speakers, PeSA has been importing American keynotes for years. AIMCLEAR‘s good friends and international luminaries Tim Ash, CEO SiteTuners, and Brett Tabke, CEO of PubCon, are also here speaking on the Gold Coast. These guys are incredibly bright and bring deeply unique perspectives to the podium.
Phil Leahy explained PeSA’s commitment to bringing in marketers from the United States. He said,
“America played a critical part in developing Australia’s online marketing industry. When there were few advanced marketing resources here, we began importing the very best minds from America to speak. Australia is catching up now and we continue to value our relationship with American marketers.”
