Ahh, Duluth. Birthplace of Bob Dylan, home to shimmering Lake Superior, and in case you haven’t heard, host of some totally dope local breweries. Visitors to our gem on the water are sometimes surprised to learn we’re a pretty serious microbrew community, with respected homemade suds coming out of Superior, Downtown Duluth, even the scenic Northshore. The fine folks who pour blood, sweat, and tears into their handcrafted brewskis (not… literally… ew…) deserve to be recognized and commended for their savory and awesome contributions. And that’s just what we plan to do.
It is our pleasure to introduce: The Official Duluth Beer Challenge.
What: Beer, baby! We’re sampling three brews from seven local breweries. Then, we vote.
When:Â Wednesday, December 19.
Where: Our shop.
Why: Because we like beer. A lot. AND! We like to share stuff with our community.
Yes, this challenge will kick off the Duluth Beer Trail, a master resource for thirsty visitors in the area. The mobile site will identify where to find killer local craft beers on a smartphone-friendly map.
Handy Bonus: Each winner of the Beer Challenge will be marked with a special icon, indicating they’re a proud distributor of award-winning brewskis.
