Two of AIMCLEAR‘s finest, Marty Weintraub (@AIMCLEAR) and Merry Morud (@MerryMorud), are kicking it in Oregon for Portland’s premiere search marketing and social media conference, SearchFest 2013, hosted by SEMpdx! The Governor Hotel will host a crowd of industry luminaries and eager attendees tomorrow, Friday, February 22, for a full day feast of marketing brainchow, actionable tactics, and tasty takeaways.
What’s On The Agenda?
Marty will be starting things off with his hotly anticipated keynote, Who Gets The Marketing Cheese? A Survivalists Guide To Remaining Relevant: How Do We Fit All THIS In Our Marketing Mix? He’ll share with the room a roadmap for agencies and marketers interested in evaluating their business programs to help stay at the top of their game. It all begins at  8:30 am PST… the early bird gets the worm. Err… cheese.
After lunch, Merry will share her expertise on the world’s largest social network during the afternoon’s Facebook Advertising session, timed for 1:15 pm PST. She’ll serve up best practices for crafting, targeting, and optimizing FB ads for ultimate results. The panel will also explore emergent FB advertising technologies, including Facebook Exchange (FBX), assort ad units, and paid-organic mashups.
Awesome Enjoy-It-Now Bonus!
A few weeks back, Merry shared a Google Hangout Q&A with Lisa Peyton, Executive Editor TMMPDX.COM, which featured a sneak peek of her presentation and some juicy FB marketing tips. Including, as put by TMMPDX:
- Break down of different Facebook ad units
- Why targeting is SO important
- Top 3 tools and tips for advertisers
- 5 year outlook for Facebook
- Insights on Facebook Graph Search
