Lie! Ummmm, NOOOO! This one always slays me, especially when someone states that they don’t think “their” customers are on Facebook. Look, there are 1.3 billion FB users, 343 million Google+, 284 million Twitter users and billions spread out over other channels. With that level of penetration, the question is not “If” your customers are using social. Rather, the question is “What channel(s) at what time of day?”  The same folks who use LinkedIn may be surfing pics whilst sitting on the couch watching a football game. They’re the same people at different times and activities in a day.  Have a serious pro look at your potential audiences via Facebook Ads targeting. You’ll be shocked to discover how incredibly accessible your customers actually are in FB. The same holds true in varying extents in other channels.
